As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am passionate about walking alongside others in their personal journey towards overall mental health + wellbeing. I believe my role as a therapist is to foster a safe and non-judgmental partnership to best support you in growth, healing, and alignment. In practice, I take a client-centered, strengths-based approach and honor you, the client, as the expert in your own life. I prefer to utilize mindfulness and a cognitive-behavioral therapy style based on the client's desires and needs. I have an interest and passion for working in the areas of motherhood, perinatal mental health + support, grief and loss, life transitions, depression, and anxiety. I believe that each person is an individual with unique needs, desires, histories, and experiences that we bring to therapy and that make us who we are. I look forward to supporting you in our work together in the ways that you deserve.
Special training and education: I received my Masters's in Social Work from Wayne State University. I have additional training in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders through Postpartum Support International. I have experience working in hospice + end-of-life care, oncology, and grief + loss.
