As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I am committed to helping people find well-being and fulfillment. I prioritize developing a trusting relationship in which open and honest conversation can bring about change towards your desired goals. I align my therapeutic techniques to individual needs and have found success using evidenced-based practices from cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness-based interventions.
My areas of professional focus are working with adults struggling with mood disorders (anxiety, depression), addiction, anger management, grief/loss, and life transitions.
I have a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Trevecca Nazarene University. The most recent experience in my professional career was 3+ years working at a dual-diagnosis treatment program under the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, MD.
