Hello! I’m Megan.
My role as a mental health professional is to provide support to those in need. My counseling style is centered around empowering clients through psycho-education, providing interventions for managing stress/anxiety, and supporting holistic well-being for each unique individual with whom I have the privilege of working with.
I specialize in individual psychotherapy for adults and teens ages fourteen and older. I am also a PREPARE/ENRICH facilitator and am able to provide for premarital and marital support. My counseling specialties include:
· ADHD assessment, support, and management
· Anxiety/stress management
· LGBTQIA+ support
· Behavioral health support
· Communication skills
· Emotional regulation skills
· Trauma psycho-education, interventions, and support
I assist clients in identifying their personal, relational, and vocational goals as well as how to work toward achieving those goals. I continually strive to provide a safe, supportive space for clients to express their thoughts, feelings, and concerns during sessions and encourage my clients to provide feedback on how they feel throughout the therapeutic process.
As a proud owner of a neurodivergent (ADHD) brain, I'm a creative outside-the-box problem solver. I'm passionate about helping other neurodiverse individuals understand more about their brain and how it influences cognition, behaviors, emotional regulation, and interactional style within relationships.
Outside my life as a counselor, I am a proud aunt, a self-proclaimed nerd, and enjoy spending my free time hanging out in the woods. =)
