Sandra Dougherty, LMSW, CGP, is a Clinical Social Worker who obtained a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology with a dual focus in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Michigan- Flint in 2005. She went on to obtain her Masters of Social Work with specializations in Interpersonal Relations and Healthcare from the University of Michigan- Ann Arbor in 2007. She is also a Certified Grief Informed Professional through the International Association of Trauma Professionals.
Sandra works with clients ages 5 and older. Her areas of specialization include grief and loss, death and dying, chronic and terminal illness, end of life, and caregiver support. She has gained her experience in hospice and palliative care, oncology, bereavement coordination, and private practice. She is also skilled in working with life transitions, anxiety, and is honored to support first responders in our community.
Sandra provides both in-person and telehealth therapy sessions.
