I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and have spent the last ten plus years working with at-risk families and youth in the state of Rhode Island. I am thrilled to move my practice back to my home state of Michigan!
I have over 200 hours of training in crisis intervention, survivor advocacy, and trauma-based therapies. I specialize in treating individuals and their families struggling with primary and secondary trauma. I use a multifaceted approach to therapy to meet my clients where they are and to suit their individual needs, whether trauma is a main focus or not.
I incorporate music, art, and other creative expressions into various modes of therapy, including CBT, trauma-focused CBT, and behavior modification. I highlight clients' strengths to drive treatment and achieve goals.
