Job loss. A car accident. Dissatisfaction with life. The death of a loved one. Challenges such as these can greatly impact many areas of one's life. Although these challenges may be a process of life, this may cause individuals to feel "stuck," not themselves, or hopeless. Whether you are going through a difficult period or need someone to lend an ear, together we can tackle anxiety, trauma, depression, and life transitions.
I am an EMDR Certified Therapist through the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) and offer EMDR therapy. I also incorporate principles from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) in EMDR sessions.
I have worked with adolescents and adults, many of whom have struggled with different mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, adjustment disorders, bipolar disorder, and relationship conflict. With my clients, I strive to foster a safe, non-judgmental place for healing that solely focuses on your goals and needs. I use a client-centered and strengths-based perspective to help facilitate the process of self-discovery and growth.
